Gattuso achieves first success with Milan U21

The new manager of AC Milan Primavera, Gennaro Gattuso, enjoyed his first success winning the Trentino Cup against Verona.

Gennaro Gattuso’s AC Milan Primavera team has won the Trentino Cup, beating Hellas Verona 3-1. After the initial advantage of Verona with Sane, the rossoneri equalized immediately with midfielder Tommaso Pobega, who scored a spectacular goal directly from a corner kick. In the second half, both teams made a couple of substitutions. The rossoneri took the lead with a goal by the 16 year old centre forward, Riccardo Tonin (with an assist by Tsadjout) and is Tonin again, the hero of Under 16 Scudetto won earlier, to set up for Sanchez the final 3-1 goal.
